Random Acts of Kindness and a big THANK YOU!

A few months ago, Kelly, from Kelly Cooks... and Other Amazing Feats, posted this giveaway on her blog.  She was a recipient of a Random Acts of Kindness giveaway from another blog, and decided to pass it on.

I was a recipient of Kelly's Random Acts of Kindness, and in the last few months, I'd basically forgotten about it.  Which made it a great surprise to find a package in my mail yesterday.  A package that I had no knowledge of ordering.

In the package was this...

With a little note from Kelly, letting me know she hadn't forgotten about me.  :)  She's been checking out my blog the past few months, and noticed that I've been trying to cook healthier food, and I'm trying to conquer the art of bread baking.  I flipped through this book and I am so excited to try out some of these recipes, especially the Whole Wheat Sandwich Bread.  I'd love to be able to make my own bread every week for our lunches, instead of buying it.
Thank you so much, Kelly!  I love it - it's perfect for me. :)  And it was so nice to get a surprise in the mail like that, especially this week - when I've been snowed in my house (until today, finally) since last Friday.

Now... it's time for me to return the favor!

I'm going to "pay it forward" to my readers.  Here's the deal:

First - you must have a blog. That way I can 'get to know you' so I can determine what to send you.

Second - what I give you will be a surprise and of my choosing.  And I'll hope that you love it as much as I love what I received. :)

Third - I'm sorry but I have to limit this to bloggers within the United States.

Fourth - and finally, to enter just leave a comment in this post no later than Wednesday, February 17th, 5:00pm EST.  I will randomly pick 2 winners to bestow my random act of kindness.  Make sure you leave me your email and a blog link in your comment!

I'd love to see the two winners pass this on in their own blog, to continue the chain.

Good luck!

Pursuit of Healthfulness

I haven't updated my blog in a while, for reasons explained on the site, but I still think this is a great idea. Although I would love to win, I don't think "winning" is necessary to have a reason to pass it along! (:

What a great idea! I love "paying it forward."

You can remove me from the running -- I just wanted to say I'm so glad you received it and enjoyed it!

Payinig it forward was one of the main reasons I started my own blog! I also was going to simply comment on how I need to tackle my avoidance of baking bread, and how that book would be a perfect start, but what I great giveaway, too!
