Crockpot Sweet Potatos with Apples

Due to a lack of oven space on Thanksgiving I decided to make my sweet potatos in a crockpot this year. I found this recipe on thatsmyhome.com.

I think it tasted really good! It's definitely not your typical extremely sweet and carmelized recipe.

Ingredients:
4 large sweet potatos, peeled and sliced
2 large Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and cubed
1/4 lb butter or margarine, melted
1/2 c brown sugar
1/2 c apple juice
1 t cinnamon
1/2 t nutmeg

Directions:
Place apples and sweet potatos into your slow cooker.
Mix the melted butter and brown sugar and spoon over the apples and sweet potatos. Pour in apple juice and then sprinkle in the cinnamon and nutmeg.

Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
